Today we’re going to discuss the topic of food and a common misconception people have that many times keeps them from sticking to a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Now, let me first say this:
I’m not condoning eating all the junk food you can get your hands on and drinking all the soda or beer your stomach can hold.
There are limits here!
With that thought in mind, here’s today’s fitness mistake.
Fitness Mistake: Thinking you have to follow a specific eating plan or completely avoid sweets and the other “good things” in life in order to stay fit.
Tip: All Things in Moderation!
It’s not necessary to follow a strict diet plan or even the food plan that comes with many of the fitness programs out there to a “T” in order to see results.
While fitness and eating healthy do go hand in hand, that doesn’t mean you have to completely give up on the finer things in life like chocolate and wine. As with anything else in your life, moderation is important.

Too much of a good thing oftentimes results in a bad thing…am I right? That being the case, I’m not saying completely eliminate your favorite snacks from your diet or go all “cabbage soup diet”. Go ahead – enjoy your favorite treats every now and again. The key is treating them as just that – TREATS.
Now, if you have a problem with control then yes, I highly recommend doing away with the junk food. But, if you’re only staying away from exercise because you think you have to eat nothing but “health nut” food, think again. This simply is not true.
As long as you are getting plenty of exercise, and don’t have a condition that makes it unwise to eat certain foods, it won’t hurt one bit to have a chocolate bar every now and again. So, Enjoy!
Just don’t overdo!
Now, diet IS important to a fitness routine if you want to get the best results, but unlike many fitness gurus, Scott Tousignant believes in the philosophy that we shouldn’t have to deprive ourselves of the goodness of things like chocolate.
That’s my kind of personal trainer! You can check out Scott’s program right here => www.FatLossQuickie.com
