Home Gym Vs Gym Membership – Which one if the better choice for you?

I am sure if you are like most people that have decided to take into considerations there new years resolution to lose weight. You probably are wondering if it is better to have a home Gym or Gym Membership. Although they both have their own pro and cons depending on your own individual circumstance, lets evaluate which would be better for you.

So what are the benefits to a home gym:

•You are able to workout in the comfort of your own home with out ever leaving the house.

•You are able to workout on your own terms and not someone else’s.

•If you are woman and get nervous about weight lifting in the gym with men then you could do it at home.

•When it comes to clothes you can pretty much wear what you want when you want to work out.

•When you are not able to make it the gym you are able to get a awesome workout at home.

•No drive time and save gas money, especially when you have kids.

Cons of A Home Gym:

•It is a lot easier to get distracted, especially when you are just starting out.

•Depending on your individual circumstance you might lose motivation fast

•The cost varies on the particular equipment you would like to buy.

•Storage space could be a problem

Benefits of Gym Membership:

•A lost more equipment to work out with that is more professional based.

•You will be able to have a lot more social networking to help you stay motivated.

•Tons of cardio classes to fit your individual style, along being able to work with a personal trainer.

•In Gym daycare if you have children that come with your membership to watch the kids for you.

Cons of Gym Membership:

•It does cost money, and from town to town it varies.

•You will have to drive

•You could get intimidated buy the equipment, but not to worry the staff at the gym would be able to help you.

•It does take motivation to keep going in a gym.

You have to take into considerations your own personal situation when it comes to choosing whether or not to workout at home or a get a gym membership. Although a a good mix between both is a great idea.
